Wim Delvoye: Vitraux

Galerie Nathalie Obadia has the great pleasure to show for the first time the work of Wim Delvoye, the most imaginative and interesting artist of the new Belgian generation. On this occasion, Wim Delvoye's new work will be exhibited. It is an exceptional set of large stained glass windows (a series of twelve) designed from X-rays taken by the artist and made by the most important glass master in Ghent.

Through these new works, the entire iconography and universe of Wim Delvoye is present.

Besides CLOACA II, which has just been completed, the stained glass windows show the more pictorial aspect of his work that we have already seen in the "Tattoos" of pigs, the "Marble Floor" photographs of marquetry made from sausages or the coats of arms painted on contemporary objects.

Wim Delvoye had a very active year, with numerous exhibitions devoted to him:
