Born in Beijing (China) in 2001, Dien Berziga lives and works in London (United Kingdom).
Having graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London, in 2023, Dien Berziga has developed a practice that blends painting and sculpture. In his paintings, landscapes and figures overlap like fragments of narratives. Silhouettes emerge between the hills, whilst forms reveal themselves or conceal themselves through a play of transparency, washes and layering. Carried by a sensual palette, his compositions are imbued with a kind of joyful melancholy, where memory seems to be constantly shifting and recomposing itself. His sculptures and frames, inspired by architectural forms, extend this exploration of the spaces we inhabit and the way in which they shape our relationship with the world.
In 2025, Dien Berziga presented Wild Grass, his first solo exhibition, at The Bomb Factory Marylebone, London (United Kingdom), followed by Attic/Cellar at Easel Art, Shenzhen (China). The following year, the Tache Gallery dedicated the exhibition Cuccurucucù to him in London (United Kingdom), whilst Partial Presences was presented at Thames-Side Studios, London (United Kingdom). In 2026, his work was also the subject of a solo presentation by the Tache Gallery at NADA, New York (United States).
His work has also been featured in several group exhibitions. In 2024, he took part in Foresight at ART PLATZ, Riga (Latvia), as well as in Perches at Nunnery Gallery, London (United Kingdom). In 2026, his work was featured in FLOOD, curated by OHSH Projects and presented by Messums West, Tisbury (United Kingdom), as well as in LOOK OUT at CLOSE Gallery, Somerset (United Kingdom), bringing together several generations of artists to explore the theme of landscape. In the autumn of the same year, his work was also, exhibited at Upper Ankyle, Athens (Greece), at ART021, Shanghai (China), with Latitude Gallery, and at NADA, Miami (United States),
with Chilli (United Kingdom).
In 2026, Galerie Nathalie Obadia presented Quiet People in Brussels (Belgium), his first solo exhibition with the gallery.
