Born in Nice, France in 1944, Roland Flexner has lived and worked in New York for forty years.
His work has been exhibited at the 2010 Whitney Biennial, the Royal Academy in London, the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and the Franco-Japanese Institute in Tokyo. His works are present in important French and international collections such as those of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Centre Pompidou, the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York and the Museum of Modern Art in Tokyo.
