Agnès Varda. Je suis curieuse. Point.

Agnès Varda (1928 - 2019) is a major figure in cinema and photography, who emerged late in her career as a visual artist. The Musée Soulages has decided to pay tribute to her. This exhibition plays on the friendly bond between Pierre and Colette Soulages and Agnès Varda, a bond she immortalized in Les plages d'Agnès.

 

In 2025, the Mediterranean Sea arrives in Rodez, with its calm blue horizon, its fishermen, its beaches, its plastic toys, its huts, its demonstrations - in short, its moving life and the portrait Agnès Varda has painted of it over the years.
